Sledgehammer (Tools › Melee) spawns on Chernarus+: the economy keeps about 15 on the map at a time. It can lie in 1,830 buildings. Most of them are Industrial buildings. It also spawns at events: Airplane crate, Police roadblock, Train wreck and Heli crash.
On other maps: Nasdara, Livonia, Sakhal, Namalsk, Raman, DeerIsle Experimental
It lies on the ground for about 4 h before the game removes it.
